Virtual Reality, STEAM Night , and Electronics
Francisco MS offers VR experience to their Computer Science classes for all grades.
Students showcase their projects in the library or at STEAM Night.
Students are learning about the United Nations 17 Global Goals for sustainable living. All over the world actions are taken to make our planet more sustainable the goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change. Guided by the goals governments, businesses, civil society, and the general public work together to build a better future for everyone. The students are creating a prototype of their sustainable living project using cutting-edge technologies like 3D printing, coding, and electronics. This project started as a collaboration with the Salesforce team of employees, educators, and engineers. Currently, all the CS classes learn about the UN sustainable Development Goals.

The students are learning about the impact of plastic on our environment in science class. During CS class the students are using electronics to program educational soundboards and infographics.

Gavin Li is the main TA and continues to help Francisco MS with the VR. Currently, he is a sophomore at Balboa High School.
